Design, manufacture and sustainable analysis of biodegradable computer mouse using solid works and 3D printer

Abstract Computer mouse made by ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic which is well known for shock Resistance, Structural stability and Stiffness. Life span of computer mouse is six to twelve months from the start of use whereas ABS plastic takes hundred years to degrade. To reduce the environmental impact by ABS plastic the PLA plastic is introduced which has similar characteristics of ABS plastic. PLA plastic is made by natural resources such as corn starch and cassava roots. Use of environmental friendly and biodegradable PLA plastic for manufacturing components can reduce the environmental impact of components made by ABS plastic.
