COMPOSITE REACTOR LATTICES

Abstract A procedure is presented for the homogenization of a large heterogeneous reactor consisting of a composite lattice of several different types of fuel rod immersed in a moderator. The properties of the composite lattice are expressed as suitable averages of the properties of single lattices containing only one type of fuel rod.
