GlidCop-Al25 is an oxide dispersion strengthened copper alloy that is considered for the
construction of high heat flux components such as the divertor or the blanket first wall in
ITER because of its adequate thermo-mechanical properties and ability to operate up to
high temperatures under irradiation. In this work the hydrogen properties of permeability,
diffusivity and Sieverts’ constant in the material have been experimentally evaluated by
using the Permeation technique. These properties are of primary importance in a fusion
reactor because they affect to the tritium cycle operation, the breeding blanket design, the
radiological security of the installation and the plasma stability
