New concentrated Kondo system : TmxS (0.9<x<1.11)

Measurements of the crystal lattice constant, microhardness, electrical conductivity, thermoelectric power, and magnetic susceptibility were combined with a microscopic examination of sections to reveal that Tm x S has a wide homogeneity range (0.9thulium ions was determined within the homogeneity region. The behavior of the physical properties of Tm x S within this region made it possible to classify this material as a concentrated Kondo system
