Study on hereditary characters and gene flow of transgenic sFat-1 pigs.

The hereditary characters and gene flow of transgenic sFat-1 pigs were studied by using PCR detection method and Southern imprinting hybrid test.The results indicated that the exogenous gene sFat-1 could be passed genetically from F1 generation transgenic sFat-1 pigs to F2 generation,and the positive ratio of F2 piglets with sFat-1 gene was 32%.The transgenic sFat-1 pigs in both F1 generation and F2 generation had no sFat-1 gene flow into the pig population in the same farm.
