Studies on the fabrication and application of the bismuth film nichrome electrode

In this paper,nichrome was adopted as the substrate to fabricate the bismuth film nichrome electrode(BNCE) by cyclic voltammetry.The electrochemical properties of BNCE was characterized by linear sweep stripping voltammetry,and its surface morphology was observed with scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results revealed that BNCE exhibited sensitive electrochemical responses to Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) in 0.20 mol/L HAc-NaAc buffer solution(pH4.5).Two sets of well-defined stripping peak currents increased linearly with increasing their concentrations,and the detection limits were respectively 6.39 μg/L and 3.52 μg/L.
