Next European Torus Assembly and Maintenance

The Next European Torus machine is designed to be fully maintainable. The assembly of the basic machine and the maintenance of in-vessel components are described. Various issues still under consideration are also discussed, including the development of methods to contain radioactive particles and to prevent the spread of contamination from within the plasma chamber.
