A Novel Design of Ultra-wideband SP10T Electromechanical Coaxial Switch

The paper introduces ultra-wideband SP10T (single pole ten throw) Electromechanical Coaxial Switch with DC~26.5GHz operating frequency range, briefly discusses the design of the switch’s whole structure, then explains the operating principle of the switch in detail, next mainly introduces the microwave transmission system of the switch, and the simulation results of the microwave transmission system are carried out by establishing the whole simulation model of microwave transmission system. Finally, the measuring results of sample switch are given within the frequency range of DC~26.5GHz, voltage standing wave ratio＜1.80, insertion loss＜0.8dB, isolation ＞60dB, and the waveforms of measuring results are similar to the simulation results.
