Safety and health education to prevent industrial accidents is implemented so that workers in the workplace can work more safely and acquire safety and related knowledge, such as risk factors at the site, and develop their ability to respond to sudden situations. Despite the importance of preventing industrial accidents, safety and health education is always problematic due to its effectiveness and site dynamics. Recently, safety insensitivity remains and the problem of assessing the degree of safety education is pointed out. The occurrence of industrial accidents can cause great damage to individuals, organizations and regions of the affected parties, so more certain prevention should be made. The purpose of this study is to present a comparative analysis of the education status and perception of worker of special schools and welfare facilities on safety and health. Subject to the investigation are 24 heads of workers' institutions and safety managers currently working at some special schools and welfare facilities in Gyeonggi Province, and disabled and worker and heads and safety managers. The main methods of analysis were frequency, technical statistics, and difference tests to examine differences between groups of agency heads and safety managers. As a result of the main analysis, there are significant differences between the head of the agency and safety managers, the disabled and the trainee workers in the possibility of near misses accident probability implement participation. The head of the agency and safety managers were found to have significantly higher safety and health awareness of the possibility of near misses than the disabled and trainees Therefore, It was suggested that safety and health education should be regularly conducted in depth and systematic considering each site situation and members' careers.
