Theoretical analysis of hydrogen separator from synthesis gas using metal hydride alloys

The paper deals with design of hydrogen separator from synthesis gas produced in plasma reactor by municipal waste treatment. The system uses metal hydride alloys, in particular La 0,85 Ce 0,15 Ni 5 with a storage capacity of 1.43%, to separate hydrogen from the synthesis gas. The design consists of the design of the heating and cooling system of the metal hydride container, the measuring apparatus for monitoring temperatures, pressures and other relevant quantities that must be sensed to increase the efficiency of the device during its operation.
