Феномен волонтерского движения в контексте профессионального самоопределения студентов

Purpose: study of educational opportunities of volunteering in professional self-determination of students. Method or the methodology of work: technology and peculiarities of volunteer activities of students with various vulnerable groups of population within implemented projects are disclosed: organization and communication training, establishing relations of friendship and mutual acceptance, the development of emotional sphere and the ability to overcome crisis, the technology of forming pupils’ self-image, the formation of positive attitudes in the social environment, the construction of individual psychological interviews, various options for group discussions ("brainstorming", debate on the basis of questioning), leisure technology. Results are experimentally proven effective possibilities of influence of volunteering opportunities on professional self-determination of students, particularly in developing of social and personal qualities in the situation of independent action steps which are necessary for future specialist: the ability to put and achieve goals, to prioritize, to develop critical and creative intellection, the ability to build a constructive interaction, to create situations of success, to coordinate the activities of supporters in provision of social protection and assistance to various categories of population. Field of application of the results: the results of the study are used in teaching and methodological activities in preparing generalists, in educational work with students, in interaction with various specialists and public (employers, social partners, parents, students, educational institutions, press representatives).
