A Channel Estimation Algorithm for WIMAX-OFDM Mobile System

The channel estimation algorithms in the WIMAX-OFDM mobile system are analyzed. An OFDM channel estimation method based on preamble is also proposed, and then the channel estimation in the WIMAX-OFDM mobile system is realized by virtual carries estimation and adaptive filter. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide more accurate channel information, and improve system performance apparently with little complexity increased.
