The topography, geography, soils, and demography of the DOE Oak Ridge Reservation are discussed. Information is provided on the regional demographic and geographic setting of the Reservation as well as a discussion of the demography and geography of the particular plants. The geography sections discuss transportation links, manmade features, and their relationships to existing land forms. Discussions of the engineering properties of the reservation soils and of earth borrow sources are provided. The use of computer graphics is described and a plan to computerize mappable RMP data is presented. 8 references, 30 figures, 4 tables.
