Belonging to the field of high polymer materials, the invention specifically discloses a flax noil fiber reinforced polypropylene composite material and a preparation process thereof. Directed at the disadvantages of small bulk density, large volume and difficult scattering in resin matrix, the process includes: firstly conducting chemical treatment on the flax noil fiber, and then employing a novel banburying mixing-extrusion double-step technology to prepare the flax noil fiber reinforced polypropylene composite material, i.e. firstly adding the flax noil fiber and other materials into a banbury mixer to conduct mixing fusion, and then adding the fused material into an extruder to carry out extrusion granulation. The composite material has the characteristics of light weight, energy saving, and environmental protection, etc., can realize lightweight design of products, and can be widely applied in auto parts, aerospace and other fields. In addition, the banburying mixing-extrusion double-step technology adopted by the invention effectively solves the non-ideal scattering problem of fiber in resin. With the advantages of stable product quality and high production efficiency, the process is suitable for industrialized production.
