Performance characteristics of a compact D-T neutron generator system

Abstract A new pulsed neutron generator system has been introduced which uses the deuterium-tritium fusion reaction to produce 14 MeV neutrons. The new system incorporates the latest technology in its electronics, sealed tube neutron head and computer control. The system is extremely flexible and adaptable to a wide range of applications in the field of materials non-destructive analysis.
