PROPERTIES OF /cap XI/ HYPERONS

Meson (K/sup -/) reactions in a hydrogen bubble chamber at 1.80 and 1.95 Bev/c were used to investigate properties of the hyperon ( XI /sup -/). The number of events observed at each momentum and the total cross sections are listed. The XI /sup -/ mean life was computed, and the decay asymmetry parameters are illustrated. The sup XI /sup 0/ - XI /sup -/ mass difference was obtained. (C.E.S.)
