The role of products of functional nutrition in dietotherapy of patients after acute myocardial infarction is surveyed. Briefly the concept, categories and the main objectives of products of a functional nutrition are presented. The necessity of application of functional nutrition for dietotherapy of cardiologic patients is proved with reference to personal experience.
