The invention discloses a method for identifying a water hazard water source of a mining area. The method comprises the steps of firstly driving a sample pool to rotate by utilizing a rotating platform, then connecting a laser with a transmission optical fiber, introducing laser into the transmission optical fiber, then reflecting the laser by a reflecting mirror via an optical fiber sensor probe onto the sample pool, stimulating molecules in the water by the laser to transmit a spectral signal, acquiring and analyzing spectrum data of the to-be-tested water by adopting an optical fiber spectrograph, transmitting the spectrum data into a data processing PC, and classifying the to-be-detected water by utilizing a distance judgment analysis algorithm. According to the method, an architecture for identifying the water bursting in the mining area such as water sampling collection, online preprocessing and water sample detection is established, so that the danger of the water bursting of the to-be-detected mining area can be dynamically evaluated and estimated, reference data can be provided for preventing the water bursting accident of the mining area, and the economic loss can be avoided in advance.
