File display method and device

Disclosed are a file display method and device. The method comprises: receiving a trigger signal in the case where a first file is displayed on a terminal screen; and in response to the trigger signal, displaying a pre-set second file on the terminal screen. The problem of privacy protection when a terminal displays a file is solved, and the user experience of electronic reading products is improved.
