Gestión de la innovación en empresas del sector agroalimentario. Provincia Granma

The objective of the work was to evaluate the state of innovation management in companies in the agri-food sector of the Province of Granma. A descriptive-explanatory study was carried out. The methodology of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment was taken as a basis for the third national innovation survey. Of the indicators contained, those related to the sources of innovation and innovation management were analyzed. Relevant statistical processing was performed. The results showed a low level of use of external sources of innovation. Innovation management showed a low level of actions in such important areas as food production, exports and imports. Among the most important causes are, among others, the homogeneous and outdated regulatory framework; poor tax incentives and little understanding of the need to link with knowledge centers.
