An automatic analyzer comprising: a propipette (700); a reagent package (400) comprising a well (400a) containing a reagent; and a reagent storage unit (124) configured to contain the reagent package (400), the reagent storage unit (124) includes: a cavity containing the reagent package (400); a closure (144a) disposed around the cavity, the closure (144a) is configured to secure and align the reagent package (400) within the cavity, the closure (144a) includes a release element (144a-2) ; and a cover (128) disposed on the cavity and the closure (144a), the cover (128) includes a first opening (128a), wherein the first opening (128a) is aligned on the well (400a) of the reagent pack (400), wherein the propipette (700) is configured to access the reagent contained in the well (400a), characterized in that the cover includes a second opening (128b) aligned on the release element (144a-2) and because the propipet (700) is configured to actuate the release element (144a-2) to release the reagent package (400) from the closure (144a).
