IMPACT OF EDUCATION AND GROWTH ON PROPAGATING PEACE AND HARMONY: A CROSS CULTURE ANALYSIS OF ADVANCED AND UNDERDEVELOPED NATIONS

Nations are molding and organizing their educational systems according to their needs and goals. Education is a key indicator in poverty reduction and developing social and economic structures while peace education initiates and support combined all inclusive learning processes. The major objective of the study is to evaluate the relationship among growth, education and peace. The data used in this study is of panel nature. The time span of the study is from 2007 to 2017. The empirical findings of the study were distributed on 2 parts; the low income countries and high income countries. There are 21 low income countries and 42 high income countries. The division is according to World Bank classification of income wise division of world. To gain the objectives of the study, researchers applied pooled ordinary least square, fixed effects model and two stages least square econometric techniques. The study found that the growth and education go side by side with peace while growth and education increases the peace will also accelerate. The study concluded that the role of growth and education has robust part in the economies of the world. The study recommend that low income countries may focus more on growth policies and especially on education and governments may pay special attention on secondary education.  High income countries may focus the formulation of labor policies because the role of labor is more prominent.
