Microcontroller information-measuring system of linear movements with acousto-optic modulator

The relevance of the present study devoted to the development of a modern microcontroller measuring control system for linear displacements based on fiber optic and optoelectronic elements is shown. This is necessary for Russia to strengthen its defenses and create competitive technologies in the industrial sphere. The goal of the work was formulated as the implementation of structural synthesis and the development of a microcontroller information-measuring system with a sensitive element in the form of an acousto-optic modulator. A comparative assessment of the characteristics and possible applications of instruments and systems based on different physical effects and phenomena was carried out on foreign and domestic patent and technical literature. On the basis of the analysis of the literature, the task was set and the choice of effective ways of achieving the goal of this work was accomplished. Prospectivity of fiber-optic and optoelectronic researches is established, as well as inadequate attention to the design and synthesis of microcontroller information-measuring systems with acousto-optic modulators. The need for research in this field has been formulated. An algorithm for the synthesis of a new microcontroller measuring system is developed in the form of nine consecutive actions (procedures). Based on the developed algorithm, a new information-measuring system was synthesized and its functional scheme was developed. At the same time, special features of structural and functional schemes were noted. Elements are described, their interrelation in the functional scheme. Features of functioning of the developed measuring system are described.
