Effect of noncondensible gases in a superheater made up of bundles of verticle tubes
1989
Experimental data on operation of superheaters, in which high-pressure steam containing minute quantities of free gases condenses inside bundles of vertical tubes, are presented. These data explain why the superheat of the product lower-pressure steam decreases with time, and suggest a method for remedying this situation.
