Process for preparing colony stimulating factor and kallikrein from human urine
1984
A method of separating colony-stimulating factor and kallikrein from human urine in pure form from an aqueous solution thereof, such as a concentrated urinary protein solution. It consists of subjecting the solution, added with a stabilizer such as octyl-phenoxypolyethoxyethanol or polyethylene glycol both having a molecular weight of 1000-10,000, to a high performance gel filtration effective in the limit molecular exclusion, determined with a globular protein, of 10 ** 5 -5 x 10 ** 5.
