The invention provides a technology for electrified overhaul of a +-800kV ultrahigh voltage direct-current transmission line. The operating method entering the equal potential comprises the following steps that an equal potential worker wears clothes according to the wearing standard, moves to the position of a cross arm of a tower along a strain tower, ties an insulated protecting rope and enters the connecting position of fittings at the cross-arm side, and ties the safety belt on handheld insulated sub-chains; after checking that all parts of the shield clothes are well connected, the equal potential worker carries a potential transfer stick to get ready to enter the insulated sub-chains; when entering the potential, the equal potential worker grabs one string of the insulated sub-chains with the two hands, the feet of the equal potential worker stamp on another string of the insulated sub-chains, and the equal potential worker moves to the position 0.5 m away from a grading ring at the conductive wire side and stops in a mode that the equal potential worker moves parallel and stretches over two insulated pieces; the potential transfer stick is stretched out quickly, the potential transfer stick is hooked to the nearest sub-conductive wire or the connecting fitting, and potential transfer is conducted. According to the electrified repairing and maintenance technology of the +-800kV ultrahigh voltage direct-current transmission line, researches of the characteristics of the +-800kV ultrahigh voltage direct-current transmission line are conducted, so that project research work and the application of the research result are achieved, and the electrified repairing and maintenance technology of the +-800kV ultrahigh voltage direct-current transmission line fills the gaps in the domestic and foreign ultrahigh-voltage direct-current electrified operations and electrified repairing and maintenance application technology.
