A SIM card cassette comprises a base, a signal elastic pin, a detection device and a controller. The detection device is used for engaging with an end portion of the SIM card, which comprises a fixed pin and a detection elastic pin, the disengagement therebetween being able to detect an action of the SIM card. A trigger portion of the detection elastic pin can abut against the end portion of the SIM card to change a second end of the detection elastic pin to move, and the trigger portion is close to a bearing surface relative to an abutting portion. In the process of taking out or assembling the SIM card, the SIM card can make the second end of the detection elastic pin move and trigger a disengagement change between the detection elastic pin and the fixed pin; the controller can disconnect a power source of the signal elastic pin before the SIM card is separated from the signal elastic pin, and can then turn on the power source of the signal elastic pin after the SIM card and the signal elastic pin abut against each other; and the timely turn-on and turn-off of the power source by the controller effectively prevents the SIM card from being burnt up by an instantaneous electric arc generated between the SIM card when being assembled or taken out and the signal elastic pin. Further provided is a mobile terminal provided with the above-mentioned SIM card cassette.
