La distribution spatio-temporelle des pluies au Sahel: apports de l'expérience EPSAT-Niger

The EPSAT-Niger experiment is the first of its kind in Africa. It was designed to study the structure of the sahelian rain fields over an array of space-time scales. To that end a digitized weather radar system was associated with a dense network of a hundred recording raingauges.
