Assays for the detection of lysosomal enzymes anti-antibodies.

Method for detecting antibodies specific lysosomal enzyme (LE) in a human, comprising the following steps: (a) contacting a sample of bodily fluid from the human being with a first labeled lysosomal enzyme with a capture moiety, and a second lysosomal enzyme labeled with a detection moiety to form a complex specific antibody LE / lysosomal enzyme, (b) capturing the complex specific antibody LE / lysosomal enzyme from step (a) by contacting the complex specific antibody LE / lysosomal enzyme with a solid support which specifically binds to the capture moiety, and (c) detecting the presence of specific antibody LE captured from the body fluid sample by detecting the presence of the labeled second lysosomal enzyme with the detection moiety.
