Relativistic-positronium channel of accelerator at institute of high-energy physics

A high-vacuum channel designed for production of ultrarelativistic positronium atoms is described. The special design requirements on the channel and the specifications of its main units are presented. The conditions of an experiment are described in which relativistic positronium atoms with ..gamma..-factors in the range of 800-2000 is observed with the U-70 accelerator.
