The invention discloses a flexible supporting device for an engine. The flexible supporting device comprises a tray and further comprises a first sliding plate supporting seat and a second sliding plate supporting seat; a first guide rail and a second guide rail which are mutually parallel are arranged on the tray; two ends of the first sliding plate supporting seat are respectively connected with one end of each of the first guide rail and the second guide rail; two ends of the second sliding plate supporting seat are respectively connected with the other end of each of the first guide rail and the second guide rail; and the middle of the first sliding plate supporting seat and the middle of the second sliding plate supporting seat are connected through a hinge link mechanism. According to the invention, the opening of the first sliding plate supporting seat and the second sliding plate supporting seat is changed through a hinge connection mechanism, so that the working requirements of stable support for engines with different types can be satisfied; and in addition, the flexible supporting device for the engine has the advantages of realizing the flexible collinear production, accuracy and reliability in positioning, simplicity and easiness for operation, capability of effectively lowering the production cost for the engine and increasing the working efficiency.
