Influencing Factor Analysis of Osteoporosis in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetic Metabolic Syndrome

2020
To analyze the influencing factors of osteoporosis in elderly patients with type 2 diabetic metabolic syndrome, and to provide reference for the prevention of osteoporosis. 882 elderly type 2 diabetic patients with metabolicsyndrome admitted from March 2016 to September 2019 in our hospital were included in this case-control study.According to the bone mineral density test results, they were included in the osteoporosis group (T≤-2.5) andnon-osteoporosis group (T> 2.5). Clinical data such as age, gender, disease course, laboratory test results, smoking history and medication plan between two groups were compared, the influencing factors for patientswith osteoporosis was analyzed with Logistic multivariate regression analysis. 294 patients with osteoporosiswere detected, and the remaining 588 patients were included in the non-osteoporosis group. Logisticmultivariate regression analysis showed that age ≥72 years and HbA1c ≥8.32% were independent risk factorsaffecting osteoporosis in elderly patients with type 2 diabetic metabolic syndrome, and BMI ≥25.81 kg / m2 wasa protective factor (P <0.05). The risk of osteoporosis in elderly type 2 diabetic metabolic syndrome patientswith age ≥72 years and HbA1c ≥8.32% is increased, while BMI ≥25.81 kg / m2 is a protective factor. Long-termeffective blood sugar control and reasonable weight control should be implemented.
