2019
There are many classification systems of cesarean section in the world, but for a long time there was no recognized classification system. In 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended the Robson Classification System as a global standard of evaluation, and for monitoring and comparison of cesarean section rates across different medical facilities and at different times within the same facility. The author introduces the classification in order to promote its wide application in domestic medical institutions, and to control cesarean section rate and promote maternal and child health. Key words: Robson classification system; Cesarean section; Cesarean section rate
