Comparative analysis on the roles of different nanoparticles on mixed convection heat transfer in Newtonian fluid in Darcy-Forchheimer porous space subjected to convectively heated boundary

Abstract This article compares the impact of different nanoparticles on heat transfer in a Newtonian fluid passing through Darcy Forcheimer's porous space over a convectively heated surface. The correlations for thermo-physical characteristics of nanoparticles (MoS2, SiO2, Cu, Al2O3) and the base fluid with basic conservation equations are solved numerically. The meshed-free analysis is performed and results are validated. Numerical experiments have shown that an optimized improvement in thermal enhancement is called by SiO2 and MoS2 − SiO2 with respect to Cu and Al2O3.
