Lactobacillus Fermentation—A Key Biotechnology Step for Perspective Industrial Applications

ABSTRACTA survey of last 10 years publications on the Lactobacillus fermentation is made. On the basis of 162 papers a statistical analysis of the main trends of Research and Development (R&D) activity in this field has been carried out. It has been shown that the most perspective directions of the studies are the pharmaceutical production and bioreactors development.
