Removing agent for carbon dioxide, removing method and treatment with removing agent

PURPOSE: To obtain a removing agent for carbon dioxide with which carbon dioxide can be removed and recovered in a rather simple constitution, and to provide the method of using this removing agent and method to recover characteristics of this removing agent for carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: As for the removing agent of carbon dioxide, a material consisting of BaZrO x (x=1 to 3) as the main agent is used. A gas containing carbon dioxide is brought into contact with this removing agent maintained at ≥500°C to remove carbon dioxide. After the removing agent occludes carbon dixode and loses its removing performance, the agent is brought into contact with innert gas at ≥500°C to recover its adsorption performance for carbon dioxide, and then reused.
