It is proposed with a sensor, an analog-to-digital converter and a digital signal processing means a method of operating a sensor arrangement, wherein an analog signal from the sensor is transmitted to the analog-to-digital converter, wherein the analog signal from the analog-to-digital converter with a sampling frequency is converted into a digital signal, the digital signal is transmitted to the digital signal processing means, and further wherein the analog signal is sent to a clock, wherein the sampling frequency of the analog-to-digital converter is controlled by the clock as a function of the analog signal.
