Silver halide color photographic sensitive materiel

PURPOSE: To accelerate color forming speed and to improve color development density and fastness of a formed dye by incorporating a specified coupler in at least one of hydrophilic colloidal layers on a base. CONSTITUTION: At least one of the hydrophilic colloidal layers on a base contains the coupler represented by the formula, in which X 1 is an N-containing hetero ring combining through N atom with a coupling site together with N atom; R 1 is a halogen, alkoxy, or an aryloxy; each of Y, R 0 , and R 2 is a substituent; (a) is an integer of 0-4; (b) is that of 0-3; and when R 1 is I atom, Y is a not substituted sulfamoyl, N-alkylsulfamoyl, N-alkanoylsulfamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, N-alkanoyl-amino, or the like.
