Annealing effect on the soft magnetic properties of high moment FeCo–O thin films

Abstract We have investigated the annealing effect on the soft magnetic properties of high magnetic moment (Fe 0.65 Co 0.35 ) 100− x O x (0 x 0.65 Co 0.35 ) 99 O 1 film decreased from 120 to 5 Oe after annealing at 480 °C. The reason for this vast magnetic softening is discussed based on the microstructural observation results.
