Clinical observation of local application of Xiaozhongyukui powder on paediatric herpetic stomatitis

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of local application of Xiaozhongyukui powder on paediatric herpetic stomatitis.Methods 213 cases with paediatric herpetic stomatitis were randomly assigned into treatment group and control group.115 patients in the treatment group were treated with local applictin of Xiaozhongyukui powder on the damaged skin.98 patients in the control group were applied with Xileisan.The clinical effectiveness and the time of pain resolve after treatment in children in six to eight years old were observed in both groups.Results The curative and the total effective rate in the treatment and control group was 66.1%,99.5% and 39.1%,59.1% respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).The time of pain resolve in the treatment and control group was(1.08±(0.36))day and(2.06±0.53)day respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion Xiaozhongyukui powder has a good effect on paediatric herpetic stomatitis with fine pain resolve effect.
