Construction and Development of E-Government Geographic Information Platform

This paper explained the basic concepts, the main function and development stage of E-government. Analyzed context of geographic information contained in the platform of electronic government information. And it also presented that the three integrated database for data integration are indexing database, spatial databases and spatial metadata database. It introduced the forms of technical support system are basic network layer, data layer, the software layer, database management layer.
