Resin-molded rotating machine

2012
A partially or fully resin-molded motor sustains a crack when a stress greater than the failure stress is applied to the resin due to thermal expansion caused by a temperature increase associated with reduced size and power output enhancement. Thus, in this resin-molded rotating machine, a material having a higher thermal conductivity and a lower Young's modulus than the molding resin is used to construct some or all of gaps that are formed between multiple molding resins used for molding at different parts. The molding resins are joined together mechanically, by means of an adhesive, or by using the both methods.
