Dynamic Compensation Control of AC Microgrid Based on Residual Generator

2019
1 This paper presents a dynamic compensation control strategy based on a residual generator, which enhances the anti-interference ability of island AC microgrid to voltage jump, harmonic and three-phase unbalance. First, based on the d-q axis coordinate system, the input current of the inverter is decomposed into fundamental current and non-fundamental current when voltage jump, harmonic and three-phase unbalance occur. A state-space model of the inverter is established, in which the fundamental current is used as the input signal and the non-fundamental current as the disturbance signal. Second, according to the dynamic compensation control strategy based on a residual generator, the voltage dynamic compensation controller is designed using linear matrix inequality (LMI), and the current dynamic compensation controller is designed using linear superposition principle. Finally, the strategy is added to the double closed-loop control of the inverter to improve the power quality of island microgrid voltage, and its effectiveness is verified on the hardware-in-the-loop simulation system.
