Determining Significant Risk Factors for Cardiovascular Complications of Patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension Using Multi-Expert Multi-Criteria Decision Making

Cardiovascular complications have become the leading cause of the death of the patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension worldwide. Determining significant risk factors of cardiovascular complications affecting the patient is extremely important of preventing the patient from these complications. Significantly, evidence suggests that many medical experts diagnose cardiovascular complications of the patient based on background knowledge and experience with different criteria. Accordingly, this paper proposes a significant risk factors determination for cardiovascular complications of the patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension based on multi-medical experts’ decision making with different criteria. The proposed determination applies fuzzy delphi method to determine important each of criterion and acquire significant criteria. The experiment with sixteen medical experts shows that the proposed determination provides significant fifteen criteria and reasonably acceptance the obtained significant risk factors. It can be seen that this paper is a new aspect of risk factors determination for the patient with a specific disease with different opinion of experts and different criteria.
