Magnetic properties of As-spun MmxFe92−xB8 ribbons

Abstract X-ray phase analysis and magnetic measurements have been made on melt-spun Mm x Fe 92− x B 8 alloys (10 x 2 Fe 14 B phase have been confirmed. The alloys investigated exhibit hard magnetic properties with ( BH ) max and i H c up to 9.1 MGOe and 10.5 kOe, respectively.
