Parametric Analysis of Acoustic near Field Characteristics of Supersonic High Temperature Jet

The work presents research results of near acoustic field of a single supersonic jet, flowing to an ambient medium out of profiled nozzle of edge diameter of Da = 46 mm. Different gases (Nitrogen, Helium, Argon, Krypton) heated in piston gas dynamic unit U-11 up to 1000–2000 K by means of adiabatic pressure were jet work bodies. During the experiment a pressure in prechamber (Po = 2–20 MPa) and nozzle expansion coefficient (A = 5.7 – 16) were also varied.
