Experimental Analysis of Frictional Characteristics of Geosynthetics in Concrete Lining Structure of South-to-North Water Transfer Project

Concrete lining structure was adopted as channel lining structure of South-North Water Transfer Project, China. The structure is made up of concrete, composite geomembrane, sand bed and insulation board. However, the faces displacement of concrete lining emerged at test section on some canal of the project. The experiment researches the friction coefficient between the weak level performance of the system, which provides the base for designing and construction.
