Cementless total hip replacement does not change bone mineral density of the lumbar spine DEXA measurements in 50 patients

We measured the lumbar spinal bone mineral density with the dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry method, 8 days, 3 and 6 months after total hip replacement in 50 patients and found no statistically differences over time.
