A method for rapid detection of potato tuber virus, characterized by: a potato tuber RNA extraction, the nucleic acid colloidal gold strip for RT-PCR reaction and PCR product detection step. The present invention is on the premise of the optimization of potato tuber viral RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and the nucleic acid GICA technology, rapid detection of potato tubers are suitable to the virus. Its most important feature: RNA extraction first developed a liquid sample can be directly performed after the polishing of potato test by RT-PCR, the RNA extraction step is omitted in the conventional method, the solution due to the high starch content of potato tubers, difficult issues its RNA extraction. Second, the developed nucleic GICA strip can be completed in 10min PCR products does not require electrophoresis and ethidium bromide staining, more rapid and practical, safe and non-polluting.
