S parameters measurement of antennas under thermal stress

2016
This paper highlights a process allowing both to establish and to quantify the temperature impact on the electromagnetic measurements in field emission between 2 antennas. We show the fabrication conditions of a radome in order to package one of the antennas, in order to vary the temperature inside the thermal chamber from 0°C to 50°C [1]. The results show the temperature influence on the electromagnetic properties of antenna and highlight the difficulty to get a thermal isotropy inside of radome.
